custom skateboard

Sorry about the terrible picture but I forgot ro take my camera with me and I was passing the board onto someone else since my parents no longer desired to have it in their house. And the only camera I had before I passed it on is my camera phone. 

So there is a kind of a long story that comes with this piece. 
Long story short though, me, and 2 other friends had this joint gift planned for another friend for the last 5 years.

It was originally not supposed to have taken this long but due to our terrible coordination, schedules and laziness it has taken much longer.... 
We had originally planned to buy that friend a skateboard however due to a high schools student buget it seemed somewhat farfetched. So we thought it was a BRILLIANT idea to order one online, design it and paint all ny ourselves. We were such ambitious kids back then... 

Although it may not be the best painting quality, I think it was wonderfully done considering it was done by 4 clueless highschoolers with all varying degrees in skills. 

It was a rather fun and adventurous project however I don't think we'll ever try such a feat ever again. 

Before anyone mentions this I know there is no propellers for the plane.... the propellers were going to be covered by the trucks (wheels) so I just didn't paint it in.
